Nathan Phillips Square in Toronto, Ontario has been awarded the National Urban Design Awards Medal.
This honor is awarded by the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada, the Canadian Institute of Planners, and the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects to individuals, organizations, and firms, and projects that “contribute to the quality of life in our Canadian cities and their sustainability.” In addition to this award, Nathan Phillips Square has been awarded the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects National Award of Excellence, a Green Good Design Award, CSLA Regional Honour Award, Green Roofs for Healthy Cities Award of Excellence, DX Silver Award, and Toronto Urban Design Award.
