and Transition to Jost Greenhouses
For the past 18 years, we’ve had the pleasure of knowing and working with Roof Top Sedums, d/b/a LiveRoof® Midwest, as a valued LiveRoof® Network Grower. Roof Top Sedums earned a reputation for unique plant designs and green roof expertise serving Central and Southern Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska.
As Roof Top Sedums prepares to wind down operations in 2025, with final installations scheduled for fall, we want to express our deepest gratitude for their years of dedication, expertise, and contributions to the green roof industry. And, while we are sad to lose them as members of our LiveRoof® family, we are also looking ahead with excitement. LiveRoof® Midwest will transition to Jost Greenhouses in 2025 with installations beginning in 2026 serving Illinois (South of I-74), Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky Missouri, and Nebraska.
A family-owned and operated business established in 1984, Jost Greenhouses is based in Des Peres, Missouri, just 20 minutes outside of downtown St. Louis. They operate two growing locations producing perennials, ornamental grasses, natives, and seasonal plants. The Jost family also has deep experience in green roofing, having been pioneers in the field as growers and installers in the early 2000's. Jost Greenhouses will be a tremendous addition to the LiveRoof® team.
