College Planning and Management featured a case study on the green initiatives at Grand Rapids Community College, including their green roof on the Applied Technology Center.  The green roof has two levels, and the lower one has seating for the Secchia Insitute’s Heritage Restaurant.  The culinary students also have a plot of the green roof to use for growing fresh herbs for their recipes.
