The Grey to Green conference is only a week away! Join us for two days of nursery tours, sessions, and a reception, on August 9th and 10th.
Green infrastructure is changing lives and communities, globally and in west Michigan. Green infrastructure contributes to social equity and crime reduction, reduces energy consumption and mitigates climate extremes. Habitat gardens, bioswales, green roofs, planted walls, and porous retaining walls will be discussed, along with such green infrastructure drivers such as incentives, penalties, building codes, education and LEED.
Economic, social and climate challenges are accelerating, and green infrastructure is an effective tool in solving such challenges. Attending this conference will better equip each of us to do our part in making the world a better place.
